The Data Download feature serves a variety of users and is being redesigned to better meet your information needs. You will see a number of changes in the near future as we create new data files for easier access.

Database Download

This file contains our most recently published Property Values (based on a date of valuation of January 1st every year), ownership data, addresses, exemptions, sales transactions, building characteristics, and more. The file is updated nightly.Click here to view the data tables and file layout.

Sales Database

Updated nightly, the file includes all sales records in our real property database. The data file includes parcel ID, sale date, sale price, legal reference, deed type, qualification code, and grantor (if available). It does not include ownership or property characteristic data.   3. The Florida Department of Revenue changed its qualification codes on 1/1/2009. Sales occurring before this date have a single digit qualification code. Sales on or after this date have a two digit qualification code, which may have a leading zero. The meaning of the codes also changed. (1 is not the same as 01, 2 is not the same as 02, and 3 is not the same as 03.) This code is used solely for th e purpose of sales analysis, and for no other reason.

Updated monthly, each Microsoft Excel file includes the owner(s) name, owner address, property address, legal description, exemptions and subdivision code.

NAL 2011 Tax Roll

The NAL (Name, Address and Legal) file corresponds to the data used to extend the 2011 First Certification of the Sarasota County Assessment Rolls on October 5, 2011. Official tax roll file submitted to the Florida Department of Revenue on October 5, 2011.
